Susan Morrison
Susan has a lifelong interest in competitive sports and the outdoors. She competed on intercollegiate volleyball, basketball and athletics teams and worked as a wilderness canoe camping guide each summer during University. In the last 10 years she has become an avid amateur squash player, playing recreationally but also organising and promoting events for professional and amateur players of all ages.
Susan has an MBA in Finance and spent 15 years in commercial and investment banking before setting up an independent financial and human resources consulting business in 1995. Throughout her business career, she has been active with a number of voluntary environmental, membership and social service organisations in the US and UK. This involved work both as a grassroots volunteer and as a volunteer Trustee/Board member, sometimes in leadership positions for Fundraising, Administration and Treasury. Most recent volunteer roles include Honorary Treasurer and Trustee elect for The Environment Centre on Holywell Mead in High Wycombe and Board member for the Women's International Squash Players Association (WISPA), the governing body for professional women players worldwide.
Wycombe born and bred, after leaving Wycombe High School she was fortunate to pursue her passion for the theatre at the London College of Fashion, now a college of the University of the Arts. Her first job upon leaving college was wig dressing at the RSC in the Barbican and that launched into a career divided between theatre and TV work, followed by a gradual move into lecturing. During her time as a lecturer she returned to the other side of the board at the LCF amongst other local colleges.

Janie Grover
In 1994 she took a career break to have a family during which time she enjoyed a new role of Chair to a group of Trustees for a small local charity which she found enormous fun and hugely rewarding. On going back to full time work she found myself once again lecturing at the LCF on the pilot programme of Foundation Degrees before moving into Regional Development with BCUC to work in FD development with its partner colleges. She has since moved to be part of Brunel University’s Development – AKA Fundraising – team where her role involves cultivating relationships and procuring third stream funding for the University.
