Course Problems

We can help you through all the University procedures, including: mitigating circumstances, appeals, complaints, academic offences and disciplinary procedures. If you have any problems with your course or with the University we can help and advise you in complete confidence. We can also accompany you to any meetings the University has asked you to attend.
A number of University regulations and procedures are referenced or summarised in your student handbook and it is important that you read and understand these as you agreed to abide by these regulations and procedures when you enrolled. Click here for the 2008/09 Student Handbook.Below is a list of links to information about course issues that you may find helpful. If you cannot find the information here that you need or you would like to discuss something further in confidence then do get in touch with us in the ARC.

Links to University Policies and Procedures
To link to the University's regulations, policies and procedures, click onto the Formal Documents link and type in the following headings to search for the Formal Document and any relevant Appendices.

If you have any concerns about your course do raise these issues with your Personal Tutor and / or your Course reps. If this does not resolve the issues or you feel that you cannot raise your concerns in this way then do come and speak to an adviser in the ARC in complete confidence.

The information above was last updated in 08/08. However, we recommend before you make any decision or enter into any agreement you carry out your own checks.
