September 2008 saw the grand roll out and un-veiling of The BIG Deal - a student experience which is unique in UK higher education. *see terms and conditions on bucks.ac.uk
Our University cares about the student experience and knows how important it is for you guys to have a social life and experience different activities as well as do the other stuff like assignments and lectures. So as a token of our appreciation we'll going to give you those opportunities for free!
As well as receiving your generous cash bursary*, you'll receive access to free sports, free entertainments and events and free recreational activities. No other University provides this stuff for free, and they will charge you to play sports or to go to events, but not at Bucks. To top it all off, because we understand the importance of your education, if you get involved in becoming a student rep to help out others as well as yourself, we'll pay you for it.
