
Each year, elections are held for our three sabbatical officer positions.
The three sabbatical positions are full-time and form our sabbatical team and help deliver the student experience that we are so passionate about. Full details of what each position involves and links to individual blogs can be found below.
Ash Coles
President

Ash is President at Bucks Students' Union. The position is elected by the student body on a yearly basis and as President, Ash sits as the head of the Students' Union. The role involves working closely with Universities Senior Management Team, vocalising student issues and opinions across both campuses and making sure that all decisions made affect students in a positive way. Naomi Franco

Naomi is a representative of the student body and provides the voice for students around sports, societies, volunteering and RAG (raise and give). Naomi ensures that students obtain the best possible experience, helping them take full advantage of what the Union offers. Jack Badu
Vice President Education and Welfare

Jack is a representative of all students at the University. He is responsible for improving the educational experience of all students at Bucks through his role as the principal academic representative, holding the University accountable for maintaining quality of education across the institution. Jack is also responsible for ensuring the University maintains its commitment to the welfare of every student at Bucks, ensuring assumptions aren't made about the student experience. You can also speak to Jack about any welfare issues such as problems with accommodation, money or if you are an international student needing support. Jack also provides help and support through a number of different Union run campaigns that happen throughout the year. |
