Bucks Students' Union is proud to host some of the biggest sporting events in High Wycombe and South Buckinghamshire. Not only do we offer two annual varsity matches against rivals Roehampton University and the Wycombe community and intramural events, we also host the best nightlife events in town to help you socialise with teammates and other students, including the infamous Wednesday night, Frat House.
Every Wednesday, until easter, there will be a number of Bucks sports teams playing at home so if you are not in a sports team but enjoy watching sport, then why not come along to the events hall, the Rye, Kingsmead Netball Centre or High Wycombe Rugby Club and show your support.
Varsity

Each year we have a competitive varsity against another local university with this year offering a full competition against Roehampton University. The event is one of the highlights in the sporting calendar and will be the culmination event at the end of a tough and competitive BUCS season. The day will be packed with sports matches to see which university will be crowned champion. Bucks will go into this event off the back of a 2-0 win in the football fixture held at Adams Park (home of London Wasps and Wycombe Wanderers) at the end of last season. It is a truly fantastic day of sport which allows you to watch and support other Bucks teams in their quest for victory.
Community Varsity
As a new event to the sports calendar, the community varsity fixtures are against teams from the local community, putting our skills to the test against the best High Wycombe has to offer. The event promises to be a great showcase event allowing our sports players the opportunity to meet people from local clubs. It also increases the chances of playing and enhancing good community club links.
AU Dinner

The AU Dinner is held at the end of the sporting season and is an event that recognises and celebrates the achievements of all our clubs, teams, committee members and individuals, who have excelled in their chosen sports or committee positions.
